My telegram No. 178 to Hongkong.
Japanese troops are now occupying some of the property
of the Canton-Kowloon Railway and have wantonly ransacked
Canton station besides removing one first class coach and
five waggons belonging to the British section. One of the
waggons has now been returned. Has any action been taken
in Tokyo as a result of your telegram No. 1530 to Foreign
Office?.
Repeated to Foreign Office telegram No. 132, Governor
Hongkong [gp. undec.] Hongkong please repeat to Tokyo as
